((Keep OOC to a minimum please.))
He remember crying out when his weapon had burst from his grasp. He remembered darkness over coming his vision as he fell to the ground. Was he dead? If he was then the afterlife was full of cold pelting rain and pain in his body from a severe beating.
Purple eyes opened to survey the cloudy but daytime sky above him from where he lay slouched in some office buildings door steps. He was groggy and not really pulling things to mind as quickly as usual. Looking down he saw his cloak, but it looked like it had been attacked with industrial strength bleach. Why was it white? Was he really in the afterlife then?
He rested a few moments more trying to pull his thoughts together as he stared down what he could see of the empty rainy street. It looked like The world that never was. But not exactly the same, this place looked more lived in. Just abandoned for some reason. He got to his feet wearily and started down the steps and onto the side walk looking up and down. Not noticing his physical changes, not noticing the thing beating in his chest yet. He was too confused and alone to notice.
Looking up and down the road he called out as loud as he could, hoping someone would hear him. Hoping this empty world wasn't so empty.
"HELLO! Is anyone out there!" He cried out. He shivered a bit and pulled the hood up over his head.

He had heard the voice--it was such a distant noise, and it made him aware of the rain on his face. He was hesitant to rise to his feet, knowing that if he even tried, he'd just fall over again.
He didn't have his sea--er, land--er, well, whatever-legs yet.
The first thing he noticed was that he could see with both of his eyes. For starters, that was just weird. He quite remembered having only one, the last time he checked.
...Unless...
The man rose to his feet, stumbled and flailed against the building, and finally got a hold on some kind of railing. He noticed his black robes were gone now, and were white instead.
What happened last? he tried to recall.
There was that Keybearer-kid, and he had already eliminated Nine and Three, and he had finally come to the World That Never Was... And then...
...But he found he was distracted by a heart beating in his chest.
Well, that was certainly unexpected.
So now he had no idea where he was, let alone who he was, and for all he knew, he was stuck here for all of eternity.
Fun, fun.
He decided to head onwards... Toward the sound of that voice.

No answer, nothing but silence even after he tried more to yell and scream for someones attention. He was feeling hopeless, this world was empty.
Falling to his knees he put his hands flat on the cement and felt like crying. That made him pause some as tears fell off his cheeks. He was really feeling hopeless, really feeling sad. He wiped his face off and kept his head down in his hood.
"What kinda fucking joke is this! Don't give me it back then leave me all alone somewhere!" He half cried out just making it worse.

Was that... Demyx?
...No, it certainly was not.
The hair was different, and so was the skin. And there was just something... different about this kid.
He walked closer to the collapsed heap of what looked like Demyx and laughed, the rain causing his loosened black hair to drape over his face as he said, "Not alone, just slightly out of place," his voice sounding ill-used and out of practice.
"And," he added, jokingly, "I think you're a little too young to be using big-boy words like that."

Those vivid orbs lifted at the sound of that voice, THAT voice he knew so well. He blinked up at the figure above him with a look of utter confusion on his features.
"...Xig..?" He questioned pursing his lips and tilting his head to the side.
Pushing to his feet he dusted the white cloak free of rain water and frowned at him huffing a little. "I'm not a child." He said in a decidedly childish fashion, despite his words. "I can cuss if I fucking want to, this place is fucked up. Fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck" He said defiantly before starting to laugh a bit at the absurdity in his own actions. "Sorry.."

Xigbar--or rather, the man who had once been Xigbar--laughed in unison with Demyx--or rather, the kid who had once been Demyx.
Guh, this was too weird.
Or, as the blond--er, brunet (this was going to be hard to get used to) had so nicely put it, fucked up.
"Ah, don't worry about it, but..." the black-haired man trailed off, fingering his own white robes, "I very seriously doubt that I'm 'Xig' anymore."
He looked around the city for just a little while and it felt... absolutely eerie. He wanted to be out of this place immediately, but unfortunately, since he knew there was a heart beating there in his chest, he could no longer use the Corridors of Darkness to get from place to place--he knew that he now existed.
Ugh, of all the times to actually exist.
"No," once-Xigbar continued on, drawing closer to once-Demyx, "I can tell that I'm not 'Xig' anymore, and you're not 'Dem' anymore. And this certainly isn't 'Kansas,' either."
Hehe, he had to say it. If he didn't, nobody else would.

"Umm.." He said before pulling his hood back and staring up at the sky uncaring of the rain pelting him now. Some bits of memories were there but they were still scattered and chaotic. The brunette frowned and wrinkled his nose up some. "Myde..I guess. I'm so used to the other name though, it's going to take a while to get re-used to my real name.."
Reaching out he ran a gloved finger on the other mans cheek where the scar used to be his brows still knit.
"Your name is.." He was struggling to remember it. He knew he should have been paying more attention when Xaldin had explained things to him once in the past. But his Nobody had been a spazz with no attention span. "Braig." He said then smiled a little nodding as if to commit that to memory.
Again he turned his attention to all around them sighing outwardly, he seemed to lack a lot of the up beat nature of his half self. A heart was a horrible burden to some and it seemed to weigh the youth down. "Just us? Or do you think the others are in this city somewhere?"

Braig... That was right.
Braig.
Braig flinched as Myde reached out and traced his cheek where his scar had once been. He suddenly became frighteningly aware of how much human contact he lacked as a Nobody--and how he welcomed it now, even from this silly kid.
But he kept his mouth shut as Myde said his piece, and then he, too, began to look around the city.
"I know what ya mean. It's gonna be one Hell of a time getting used to being Braig again," the black-haired once-Nobody murmured, beginning to traipse lazily around Myde. "And I don't know if anyone else's here. Maybe we should start pokin' our noses around to see what we can find."

The brunette let him walk around him making him feel suddenly very self conscious. He wasn't sure if the motion was positive or negative yet. He reached to the front of his cloak and unclasped the chain and beads from the front of it that were simply decorative and held no real purpose. He used it to pull his hair up and off his neck, only bits of it still framing his face.
"Defiantly going to take a while to get used to long hair. I don't know how I ever put up with it before." He chuckled flicking a lock of waved hair. "I think..I was fighting heartless. I think I tried to do that thing I was always told not to do. Combine elements, lightning and fire. Elements I'm not good at anyway, but I was desperate. I think it blew up in my face and my hair was burned off." He muttered only getting bits of images in his head. He started towards one of the buildings to see if the door would open. Only to recoil with a startled yelp as something black came twitching out of the shadows. The heartless seemed more grotesque, parts of its limbs had black bones and muscles showing in disturbing vivid detail, its maw rowed with wicked dual rows of saw teeth like a sharks. It made an ungodly squealing noise as it reared towards the mage.

Braig chuckled, remembering that fighting was the one thing he excelled in, both as a Somebody and a Nobody.
"Well, we can worry about your hair later, kiddo," he said, all smirks and confidence. "Right now, we need to slay these bad boys--!"
Of course, the first thing Braig tried to do was summon his twin katar-pistols to blast the little bugger away, but the action was in vain.
Of course.
Braig was no longer Xigbar--no longer part of the realm of the nonexistent, or even of the dark or the light, so the action was quite pointless.
The second thing that Braig did then was reach out and grab at Myde's shoulders, pulling him away from that spindly, rather nasty-looking creature. Ugh, it was just freakin' gross.
And the third thing he did was tell Myde, "Run," as he slowly began to back away from the Heartless-monster-thing.
He knew they would have to find weapons, if they were going to have to be facing off against these things. And a safe place to recooperate if the need arose.
...But... where?

Nodding to him he started down the street with no real destination in mind. He looked at each building as he passed it for something that might help. When the heartless was right at their heels Myde did the only thing he could do. He flipped around and kicked it right in the face knocking it backwards a few paces. It howled in such a manner that made Myde cringe outwardly.
"This things relentless." He put his hands out feeling the old burn of magic well up from the core of his being. "Stay close to me this only has a short range." He called to his companion before starting to cast, the fluid Latin falling from his lips like second nature. A done of crystal appeared around them. The protect spell doing wonders against the dark based creature. It bounced off the dome of light with a hiss and retreated into the shadows still watching them.

Heat washed over his entire body. It was strange, not like anything he had felt before. Everything was so black for so long, or was it only a second nothing was clear. He felt so...so different. He opened his eyes and quickly shut them.
"Damn sun."
He rubbed his eyes, then it hit him "sun?!" He opened his eyes and looked around. Something inside of him was beating like a drum and he couldn't recognize it but it felt so familiar.
"Hahah i have a heart!"
He looked at his clothes they were pure white.
"This is new."
He tried to summon his chakram but nothing happened. He shook it off and tried again, and again, and again, and each time nothing.
"Well at least theres nothing here..."
He looked around and he saw tall buildings like the world that never was but it looked like they were recently lived in. He decided he needed to find some one.
"HELLO!?! ANY ONE HERE?!"

Braig couldn't help but chuckle to himself, remembering the way Demyx had always shyed away from conflict. Well, this was Myde now, and the two were bound to be at least a little different, right?
"Nice, kid, very nice. Expecially that kick. Boy, he'll be feeling that in the morning," Braig commented with a snarky smile.
Suddenly, he heard something far off, and his ear pricked ever-so-slightly at the sound.
"Uh-oh. Sounds like there's someone else here besides us," Braig said softly, peering through the buildings and trying to pinpoint the source of the voice. "Best be looking for him."
Of course, he thought to charge ahead, but logic got the better of him. Myde was the one with the magic, of course, and so, politely, he said, "After you."
He felt bad about using the kid as a meat-shield, but hey, at least he was a meat-shield with a means to protect itself.

He started walking in that direction but stayed very close to Braig regardless. It was close enough the mage was turning red and pulling his hood back up to hide his face after a few moments. Keeping the protect spell up just required him to recast it every five mins or so. And it seemed to keep the heartless away from them. It's light was their weakness.
"Feels weird..feeling stuff." he said quietly more to make conversation than anything. He didn't like awkward silences.

He had no idea if there was any one else here but something in his gut told him he was not alone.
"HEY IS THERE ANY ONE OUT THERE!?!"
He scratched his head and it felt odd not the normal long red spikes these were short and he had a ponytail.
"What the hell?"
He was no longer Axel he was some one totally different but still some what the same
"Reno."
the name just flowed out of him and it felt right he felt like himself for the first time since being in this strange world.
